Photoelectric Proximity Sensor with Background Suppression

The SICK WT160 Photoelectric Sensor utilises a visible red light source, monitoring that beam in order to trigger a process response should the beam be interrupted by an object. This capable sensor features potentiometer sensitivity adjustment, robust PBT body, PNP output, visible red light beam and status LED. The precise background suppression built-in to this sensor helps reduce false readings caused by stray background reflections.
