M18x1 Photoelectric sensor with diffuse mode features 1 PNP output with an IP67 protection rating plus a M12x1 4 pin connector. A capable photoelectric sensor with a detection range of 0 to 200 mm, with and an infrared light, light/dark switching, all encased in a nickel plated brass housing. This infrared detector has an operating voltage of between 10 to 30 VDC and is short-circuit protected and reverse polarity protected.

This reflex light scanner contains both the emitter and receiver in a single housing. The light from transmitter is beamed back from the recorded object and is evaluated by the receiver. The detection range depend on the object colour, with darker or very small objects the detection range reduces.

The durable optical surface of this M18x1 cylindrical photoelectric sensor is made of polycarbonate and the built-in LED indicator demonstrates the operational status of the sensor. The light spot is 40 mm at a maximum range of 400 mm. This versatile photoelectric sensor is suitable for a wide range of industrial process control and sensing applications.
