Door solenoid safety interlock, standard actuator with manual with a 3-square socket key

The TZFWS-24VDC has been designed for machines and installations where access to a hazardous work areas must be controlled, via such mechanisms as machine barrier access doorways and safety guards. This solenoid safety interlock features independent actuator key positions and solenoid-latching monitoring positive break contacts that prevent a machine restarting until the guard is closed and the solenoid-latching pin is in the locked position.

The switch actuating key is usually mounted on to a movable machine guard and when the guard is closed the actuating key is held in position. The guard can only be opened by energising or de-energising the latching mechanism.The solenoid-latching mechanism circuit features 2 NC and 1 NO contacts which permit status monitoring.
