SINAMICS is a family of drives from Siemens for industrial machines and plant construction delivering solutions for all manner of drive tasks. The SINAMICS G120 is a modular inverter system that essentially comprises of two functional units, a Power Module and Control Unit. The Control unit controls and monitors the power module and the connected motor in several different modes, supporting communication with a local or central controller and monitoring devices.
Versatile this power module is suitable for a wide range of including simple pump and fans for the process industry, complex individual drives in centrifuges, presses, extruders, drive line-ups in textile, plastic film, and paper machines and servo drives for machine tools, as well as packaging and printing machines.
