Ultrasonic Energy Meter for Heating Applications

The SONOMETER 500 is a compact ultrasonic energy meter designed for use in heating applications in buildings, especially residential sub-metering, such as in flat stations. This ultrasonic energy meter consists of several components including an ultrasonic flow sensor, a built in calculator for measuring energy consumption, flow rate and temperature, 2 temperature sensors and an on board M-Bus interface.

Rated at 2.5 metres cubed per hour flow rate, with an operating pressure of 16 bar maximum and a 1.5 metre cable, this sensor is ideal for low temperature installations. The preinstalled battery has a 10 year lifetime.

With an extensive readable data memory, high long term stability, tested and verified in independent AGFW tests, and MID approval for ultrasonic meters with a dynamic range of qi:qp 1:100. Featuring low pressure loss, a swirl-free flow around reflector, robust stainless steel reflector and resistance against dirt ingress.
