Square body fuse, HRC, 1250A, Blade Mount
This 170M range of square body high-speed low-voltage HRC fuses are designed to open rapidly and are the ideal solution for high-power applications which require a compact design with superior performance. The fuse contact surfaces are electroplated with layer of tin that provides an excellent electrical and thermal interface.
Square body high-speed fuses have a high cycle rate and are designed to minimise peak current let through and arc voltage, a fast-melting time ensures a rapid opening time of an electrical circuit. Once tripped square body fuses are not resettable and must be replaced.
Typical applications for square body fuses include the power converters/rectifiers, DC common bus, DC drives, transformers, reduced voltage starters and other industrial control gear.
