Safety Switch STP with Door Monitoring Contact, Horizontal/vertical Approach

This STP Safety Switch utilises the closed-circuit current principle - guard locking using a powerful spring force. Designed to last and suitable for numerous safety gate/machine access installations with a durable thermoplastic body, IP67 rating and a locking force of 2500N. This robust safety switch has both a vertical and horizontal approach path, and the actuator head is rotatable in 90-degree steps. Guard locking spring force is released when voltage is applied to the guard locking solenoid. 

The switching elements consist of slow action switching contacts, 2NC + 1NO and 1NC door monitoring contact and a lacquer sealed front auxiliary release which is used for manually releasing the guard with the aid of a tool. Suitable for installation in any position and with a mechanical life of over 1 million operations, this switch provides years of service. Suitable applications include safety gates, access panels and other areas that require restricted access as part of a safety system.
